Portrait of a cranberry farmer - Pitt Meadows, BC
This documentary was produced as part of my international internship with ERACOM during my stay in Canada (Vancouver, BC). Towards the end of this experience, an opportunity arose to film a cranberry harvest on a farm located near Vancouver. On the recommendation of my supervisor, Mackenzie, this project became a personal documentary.
I developed the film from start to finish: defining the narrative approach, preparing the shoot, and directing the project. Over two days on location, I documented the harvest and interviewed the farm manager, capturing footage with both drone and camera, as well as sound using lavalier microphones. I also filmed the teams at different moments throughout the day to accurately portray the reality of agricultural work.
I then handled the entire post-production process: picture and sound editing, SFX integration, color grading, and title design. This project allowed me to independently carry out a complete documentary, while benefiting from professional supervision in an international context.

Over two days, I shared the daily life of those who work the land, following the rhythm of water, light, and repeated gestures. This film is a portrait of a man, a profession, and a specific moment in the year, captured as close to reality as possible.
