As part of an intensive four-day intercompany course, our team designed PulseExplorer, a mobile application aimed at enhancing the open-air festival experience in Switzerland. The brief was to imagine a platform capable of centralizing all Swiss festivals and supporting festivalgoers before, during, and after the event. PulseExplorer combines geolocation, interactivity, and integrated services to deliver a seamless and immersive experience. The application notably offers: - A comprehensive listing of open-air festivals across Switzerland. - A real-time interactive map with integrated live messaging. - Centralized access to essential on-site information. - Integrated ticketing and personalized recommendations based on musical preferences. - A Concert Mode, encouraging full immersion by disabling the camera feature. Its flagship feature, My Pulse, is unlocked upon ticket purchase and provides an immersive experience designed to strengthen the connection between technology, events, and human interactions. PulseExplorer introduces a new way to experience open-air festivals in Switzerland by combining geolocation, interactivity, and essential services. Designed from start to finish by users, the project reflects our ambition to create a useful, immersive application tailored to the real needs of festivalgoers.
