This video celebrates the unity of the Swiss artistic youth, born on screen yet meant to travel far beyond it. Through collaborations between friends and rarely seen locations, the T-shirt asserts itself as a living symbol, free to move across the world.

TAKE OVER

A project on which we shared a great deal of time and energy with S15, a clothing designer. S/O to him, who, thanks to his talent, created a t-shirt design that is both symbolic and aesthetic. Simply put, this project is about bringing people together. That’s why it takes place in many different locations. The t-shirt design references the Pact of Austerlitz–Unterwald, a symbol of unity and collective progress. I believe that in Switzerland, there is a real lack of sharing and connection between people. I didn’t want to create just a simple video, but to add a real emotional dimension through music. For this, I collaborated with Cesar3364, a Lausanne-based artist, as well as Kidnelyrz, an artist based in New York, to create a sound of connection that makes sense with both the video and the t-shirt. Everything was filmed on a Sony A7S II. For the locations, I chose places that are important to me: first, the Bourdonette neighborhood, then Malley in Lausanne, where I also spent a lot of time. I also included a photographic setting, as it’s a place I’m used to being. Then the mountains, to properly represent our nature. Finally, New York — and not just anywhere — but Times Square. For most of the filming, I was accompanied by just one close friend of mine, who is also an apprentice at the same company as me.
