The Geometric Interactive Garden

The Geometric Interactive Garden is an interactive and responsive web project inspired by French formal gardens and their fundamental principles: order, symmetry, proportion, and spatial control. The project was developed with the aim of reinterpreting these historical concepts through the language of digital design, combining geometry, mathematics, and interaction. Rather than representing a garden in a realistic way, the project offers an abstract interpretation of its main elements. Paths, fountains, flowerbeds, hedges, and architectural structures are translated into simple geometric components such as circles, squares, and rectangles. All elements are designed using a modular grid system, which serves as the mathematical foundation of the entire visual system. This grid allows precise proportions, visual consistency, and a balanced composition throughout the interface. The project is conceived as a space to explore. Users can interact with the garden through clickable areas that open informative cards explaining the role of each element within the garden. In this way, the interface goes beyond simple observation and becomes an interactive experience that encourages discovery and engagement. A key aspect of the project is its approach to responsiveness. Elements are not resized but reorganized across mobile, tablet, and desktop layouts. Their proportions always remain the same, while their position adapts to the available screen space. This strategy ensures visual coherence and logical consistency across all devices.
